Get to Know Us
Founded by John Togba Sampson and Mercy Williams Sampson, Altruva Home Care LLC was established in response to the emotional and logistical challenges families face when caring for aging or disabled loved ones. Drawing from their backgrounds in community advocacy, administrative leadership, and healthcare support services, John and Mercy recognized a critical need for inclusive, person-centered home care within their community. Their vision is to provide services that not only meet physical needs but also support emotional well-being, helping families feel secure and supported every step of the way.

Ownership and Management
The business is jointly owned by John Togba Sampson and Mercy Williams Sampson, who together bring a distinctive blend of healthcare leadership, administrative expertise, and a steadfast commitment to community care. While John’s background is not in direct home care operations, he contributes valuable skills in administration and strategic leadership, enhancing the organization’s operational direction and long-term planning. Mercy, a Registered Nurse with over 15 years of comprehensive experience across hospital, nursing home, and private home care settings, is highly skilled in assessing patient needs, designing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal health outcomes. Her adaptability across diverse healthcare environments, combined with her compassionate, patient-centered approach, provides a strong clinical foundation that underpins the organization’s quality of care.
Together, they have assembled a team of licensed professionals—including Registered Nurses, experienced home care aides, and specialized consultants—who bring the clinical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and commitment to quality necessary to ensure compliance and deliver exceptional service.
